In 2013 Jubail University College (JUC) created its first strategic plan which set out the roadmap for the college journey until 2016. By the end of 2014 standardized criteria for measuring the achievement were put in place, and by the beginning of 2016 it became clear that many of our strategic goals had been satisfactorily achieved. Due to the dynamic nature of the higher education environment, the management of JUC suggested that strategic planning process should be strengthened by involving key stakeholders. The second strategic plan was created by the end of 2016 to cover the period 2017-2019. Currently JUC is working on its third strategic plan to cover the period 2020-2025. The newly formed Strategic Planning Committee was charged with the responsibility to oversee the strategic planning process of the college through the different work groups specifically created for this purpose.
