Introduction to the Lab
The welding Lab provides students with facilities where they learn and practice the basic welding techniques, which is part of the manufacturing courses at mechanical engineering department. The lab contributes mainly to teaching and senior design project (SDP) activities. The lab facilities include:
Welding processes including:
•Spot Welding Machine
•TIG Welding
•MIG Welding Machine
•SMAW and accessories
•Accessories
Courses supported include:
ME 205, ME416 and ME415.
