Introduction to the Lab

CAD Lab of this college is established for concept design and product realization. CAD is used for detailed engineering of 3D models using Solid Works and 2D drawings using Auto Cad 2010 of physical components. Computer-aided design (CAD) is the use of computer systems to assist in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design.

CAD software is used to increase the productivity of the designer, improve the quality of design and improve communications through documentation. The student will receive "hands-on" training and will develop the techniques that are essential in today's job market. The student will learn how to adapt basic technical drafting techniques to generate working and production drawings.
