On Monday 10th of October 2016, JUC held the Honoring Ceremony for the Ideal Students and Student Council Members for the year 1436/1437. The Ceremony started with the College Deputy for Student Affairs, Ms. Maha Alhejji, where she expressed her gratitude to the previous Student Council and she praised their efforts and dedications during the year. Also, she announced the membership of Duha Alakeel, president of the previous Council, in the new Council as a consultant.
The president of the previous Council presented a speech where she talked about her enriching experience and the skills she gained. At the end, she thanked Ms. Maha Alhejji and Ms. Amnah Muolad for their support and help.
At the end of the event, Dr. Ghada Alsaleh, College Deputy for the Female Branch, and Ms. Maha Alhejji started to honor the ideal students, Sumaya Omari who won the Ideal Student Award at the level of Preparatory Year, and Duha Alakeel who won the Award at the Bachelor's level.
Moreover, members of the previous Council were honored: Duha Alakeel, Shahad Aljaber, Ebtihal Aleid, Samar Alshafei, Muneera Alrsheedi, Aisha Aldhfiri, Dalal Allehedan, and Roaa Alghnemi.
Then, the Student Activities Specialist announced the new members of the Student Council where Nourah Alqahtani got the highest rate of votes to be the present of the Student Council of this academic year. Members of the new Council listed according to the highest rate of votes are Elaf Alhjar, Maha Alghouiri, Razan Alghamdi, Atheer Alhsini, Alaa Khalid, Fatimah Alnjeri, and Tgreed Alghanim.
