General Studies Department in collaboration with the Student Council have organized the 1st Symposium of Energy Awareness in this year at Jubail University College – Female Branch, on Sunday January 1, 2017.
Dr. Nada Alsmail, started the symposium and presented a scientific lecture (Over Consuming of the Energy) which explained the history, types, classification of energy and statistical analysis about the current situation. Finally, the lecture was linked with 2030 kingdom’s vision.
The second part of the program consist of two exhibitions; one developed by general chemistry students where they presented some energy projects, and the other one organized by the student council team were they displayed remarkable practical solutions across three sections: 1- Lower the consumption of electricity 2- Lower the consumption of water 3- Lower the energy consumption in buildings.
At the end, all of the visitors received awareness brochures on ways to save the energy.
