​The Interior Design Department has successfully presented poster abstracts at the Multi-Purpose Hall during the period from May 21 until 22, 2017. There were 16 abstracts presented. Sustainability in education was the main theme of all submissions. The posters reflected public awareness and understanding of sustainability besides shedding light on the importance of reorienting education to support sustainability issues and culture. The activity mainly targets to level up quality education and learning for sustainable development at all levels and in all social contexts following the initiatives of UNESCO.

Abstracts were submitted by faculty members from different departments of JUC. The College Deputyship for the female branch and the College Deputyship for Academic Affairs were in full support to this activity.

This has helped to create a conducive atmosphere for research resulting in partnerships for research among faculty members from different departments.​
